Two days of going to the US open on the beach in HB, and then over to the Maloof at the OC fair.
The son of Cernicky of Death...
Some dude punched a girl in the face.
She may have deserved it, but it looks really bad no matter what. Ian Deacon was about to headbutt this guy. Adelmo was about to whip his dreads around his neck and snap his head off.
Look who I ran into...
The kids still love Mr. Rowley.
Still gnarly after all these years.
Ran into these guys, I told them I would forget their names, and I did. Adam and Steve? No. Anyway they were cool guys, and they were rocking the socks - new sock team members!
I got mine out too, and we had a sock-team moment.
And then J-Lay and Grant felt left out, so we got them and their socks into the sock-team special moment. All for one, and one for all!
We then went into the OC fair.
lurking on people and places.
Ran into Bucky, who very recently transfered the drawing I did on his computer IN-to his arm --- for life.
Filmer down!
Then the next day we got up and out via bike to downtown Huntington Beach, where the US open (of Surfing) and all the diverse attention-seeking humanity it attracts will be congregating in one spot, with little clothing, and lots of sun.
Get your picture with some bonafide HB strippers!
Found some
video to give you guys a look at what it's like walking around there.
"I'm gonna tell my friends that I boned these girls."
The postcard to his pals back in New Jersey: "Yo, bros, this is how I roll in Cali."
Saw my
RVCA teammate
Alex Knost signing autographs...
And
Nolan Hall was there too.
Just a small core sample, a litmus test if you will, of the skin on display. Moments later this ass was
spray painted and documented by
Deanna Templeton.
I guess
Weezer played, but I was already at the Maloof.
Suarez!
Then back to the Maloof contest, just in time to see Billy Marks KF boarslide the rail.
"Billy Marks fakie frontside 360!"
Sinclair was one of the judges.
He has a vision for the future.
Rolled around the fair with
Grant, looking for people on cell phones, so he could take pictures of them.
