He gave a skate-prayer of thanks after getting a couple of clips.
Fletch did a Zero Roll Up to a rail.
Never one to be outdone, Rob sussed out a giganta-rail to impress everybody.
He then used a bench as intended...

hey ed i found a site called skatevideosonline.net. its a website that provides you links to websites that skate videos are uploaded to. in essence, they find skate videos online that you can watch for free. the site doesnt do anything "illegal", because it only finds the videos, and doesnt upload them, but still they are encouraging people to illegally watch the movies that the skate industry works so hard to make. i think we need to start a petition, a protest, something to keep this shit from happening. i know some people think its a good thing, but watching videos for free means the skate companies don't get money, which leads to riders not making money, which leads them having to get side jobs to pay the bills. WHEN YOU WATCH VIDEOS FOR FREE RATHER THAN BUY THEM THE WHOLE INDUSTRY SUFFERS!!! Something needs to be done, lets figure out what...

if you didn't notice, the fletch kid has a toy shirt and board, most likely meaning he is getting some sort of support from toy. the kid is amazing, no surprise that toy would want to help him out.

The reason the videos are made is for a marketing tool. If people watch them for free,they're bound to buy products too.Like if the only way to watch Fully Flared was by buying the DVD,a ton of people wouldn't see it and there wouldn't be that much buzz,so the more people that watch,makes more buzz,which sells more products.Plus skate videos are really expensive.And I can't find any of those skate videos so Ol' youtube has archived some classic footy for my bitch-ass.

I don't have a problem with seeing videos free online as long as it is not the same day the video comes out.
Just like a movie.
Ideally, the makers of the movie want a big turnout at the theaters, then they want to make DVD money. Then after a while, you can see it for free on TV.
Skate videos are the same. We release them at key times, lets say Christmas, and hope that a ton of people buy the DVD's so we can make our costs back for making the video, and hopefully a profit. Then after a while, you can see the video on YouTube.

thats the problem though. a lot of new videos like "ride the sky" and "and now" are up and havent been out for more then a few months...i just think its fucked that so many people feel a need to scam things like movies or music off the internet just to save a few bucks...i'll never know what its like to really film a part of put together a video, but i can imagine its not too rad of a feeling to spend 3 years filming a part only to see it getting copped online. maybe i'm wrong...
