you see, im a 18 year old dude who lives in imperial valley, which is right on the border of Mexico, anyway...
when i regitered to vote, i declared to not join ANY party due to my little knowledge about Republicans, Democrats, etc., which makes me a non-partisan. Getting to my point...
i got received in my mail this "OFFICIAL ABSENT VOTERS BALLOT" and inside contains (obviously) a voting ballot, but what worries me is that they only gave me a list of measures for the state, BUT NO NAMES FOR OUR FUTURE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES! is this a consequence of being a nonpartisan? dont i deserve the same constituional rights as everyone to vote for someone, regardless the fact im not politically active? do i really need to be a Repubican, DEmocrat, or other?
excuse my ignorance guys, but really...whats up?

okay first of all, if you dont know the one and the only mike burnett, the guy who shoots probably 75% of the photos of toy riders for magazines and toy ads, then you should NEVER list your screen name as The Loyal Pawn.
now for my real question, the people i live with are democrats and since they dont like obama or clinton they decided to vote for john edwards since he is no longer in the running, and can not possibly win. that being said, they had the nerve to call other people un-patriotic for not voting. does anybody else consider voting for someone who is not even running the same thing as not voting in the first place? how are you being patriotic by just wasting your vote? i will say that i dont think there is a perfect cantidate in this race, and there never will be, but isnt the point of voting to decide who we think will do a better job?
