josh, when i moved from michigan to california, it seemed like it was a perfect fit; a skateboarder going to the skateboard capital of the world. But i found that it was actually less fun to skate for a long time because i didnt know anyone and it was harder to get motivated. did you find the same problems when you moved from illinois to california, or were you able to progress as a skater on your own?

What I've read and heard was that most pro's or "good" skaters haven't finshed school or gone to college. Is that the same for you? Or is that some stupid thing I've been reading in interviews, and I really want to finish school and go to college and still be able to skate way I am enjoying it now. So is it mostly true?
