Barcelona for the NY Times 8
Earlier this year I went to Barcelona with the New York Times Style Magazine, "T," to shoot photos for a travel story revolving around the fact that Barcelona has historically been a hub of Skateboard, Art, and Graffiti culture. Sadly, the article (and hence my photos) will never run because of staffing changes at the magazine. So I will do a series of posts sharing the photos I took on that trip to Spain this April, 2012.

Oh and as for the Newton quote, while couch-ridden I reccommend the Noam Chomsky lecture "The machine, the ghost, and the limits of understanding: Newton's contribution to the study of the mind"

The lecture runs about 45mins, it's fun to take notes and doodle while listening and it's nice to hear Chomsky on something a little less political and "urgent" than usual

Outdoor couches. I hope they take those cushions in at night, I get weird about that shit. Between rain and bugs, I don't love it, but it looks really nice and probably was awesome to sit in.

Foldedshirts, some of those photos are awesome.
I wish it weren't always so gloomy here, it's nearly impossible to take photos unless it's the summer or you want to shoot at f/1.4
