The Bright Eyes of the year 1990

During my digital archiving I found some very early photos.
Justin Regan, my boss over at Emerica forever, and now the master moneyballer over at Vans. We go way back.
My mom sleeping.
Otis B, known simply as O, legendary skate photographer. And kick ass musician.
Paul Schmitt, aka the Professor. This is at the beginning of the company New Deal.
Deanna with a New Deal hat.
A mock up of the graphic I was working on then.
I must have thought I was so hot. Check out those skate trophies back there.
Uh-oh, getting stupid!
Another one of Justin Regan. We used to call him "Regular." In our reverse talk of the time it meant "Deformed."
Some early artwork. A nude drawing of Deanna, go figure.
18 years old.
I still have most of this crud. I think I might be a horder.
Deanna's early photography.

I think you may be a horder too, but it\'s important to keep some things for memories. So many things that I\'ve forgotten have come back to me through finding old stuff hidden away somewhere in my house.

ha. you're seriously tweeting some info. me gusta.

that deck is so beautiful. re issue re issue. repackage, extra track and a tacky badge. jk.

you guys gonna pre order the new Viva Hate re issue?

i'm a hoarder too. lightweight. that tv show rules. it has everything tv shows need. drama, somebody being told they're wrong, all that shit. anyway. I need to stop buying shit. I need to skate some shoes I have stored up. shred some boards. donate some clothes. sell some cameras and old clothes. and donate shit.

Great great old pics
Gotta love the potty shot
Deanna had serious talent even back then to get just the right angle

I like how these pictures are old, but the style of hats and things are pretty much the same. It almost makes these pictures look like they were recent. Really like the first one.

On regards to hoarding: What are we but vessels of our memories?

Just got mad poetic on your ass.

I wonder how much that Deanna drawing is worth now.

yeah. that O photo looks the like it could be right now.
is that a NES?

holy shit. NES was bangin back then too.

Your mom is looking pretty Chola

before iPhones.

the hat Ed is wearing while pooping looks dated though. nobody rocks that style.

Ed, your twitter name isn't very creative. ha. you're not joking around on Twitter.
that michael moore tweet hurt my feelings. I feel more and more like a tool at my work everyday. sucks. my boss hasn't hired anybody to help me for like 3 months and i've been scraping by ever since. I guess as long as the cash can be milked out that's all that matters.

Twitter. Tumblr. Facebook.
social networking ain't for little girls no more. jk. I love to receive your electronic messages.

Mike, too much buddhism. this is america. our possessions determine our merit.

Chocolate stole the New Deal font.

Woah, you're a dork.

Skate trophies? Who'da thunk.

Re-make that board.

I hord little things too. I keep a box of meaningless trinkets that mean the world to me.

Do you usually keep the bathroom door open when you shit?

I love how Josiah nerds out.

He's right, Jgonz. Eric Burdon said, "When I think of all the good times that I've wasted having good times..." We destroy ourselves, but it only sculpts our personalities in the end. I'm forever a kid at heart.

Devin & Kris Kirk's phone blog is awesome.
Wish I could send pic messages.

The only reason why the style looks similar is because no one can come up with anything new. We're trying to relive the past's styles. We need to progress & start wearing silver foil jumpsuits.
