layers of powder and oil paint all over the eyes, lashes, lips, and cheeks to hide the superficial imperfections and decrease the high levels of insecurity in order to gain men's attention and ignore them.
you should check out the make up some girls here in mex wear, its ridiculous.
(mostly to look not brown)
sometimes they put on so much make up their faces smell like beans.
i formed a hypothesis women secretly long to have white/pale skin.
they idolize/cherish people with non-mexican skin color so much its sad, really.
(which is due to the 100 plus degrees that fucks everyone's skin up)
some people will go crazy if you're blonde, its like when the aztecs thought hernan cortez was a god because theyve never seen someone not brown.
white is worshipped.
im down for brown.

@fresh You´ll also find this phenomena within the music industry and popculture itself. Beyonce, Tyra, Rihanna, even if you look at some of the older popstars like Whitney and even Prince. They´re always covered with make up that makes em look more brighter, more white.Maybe it´s to attract a more european audience, maybe they just have complexes.

I've noticed that Mexican advertisements have a lot of Spanish descended people, with their paler skin and light brown hair. anyway, where da natives at?
Wasn't super pale skin also super attractive in Europe also? Like it would mean a woman is super delicate, therefore super feminine and whatever.
Jason Dill likes black chicks.
Black girls straighten their hair too.
Black girls. ha.
And Chinese people get eye surgeries to open their eyes up more too.
Replublicans want all of this to happen. Keep woman weak by not letting them accept themselves.

I'm happy being an ugly mexican.

@ Jgonz Right.Pale skin was a status symbol in the 19th century and earlier.
Having a pale skin meant you didn´t had to work especially on the fields where you got toasted. That´s also why you´ve seen these chicks with parasols. They didn´t wanted to get a tan.
Nowadays I guess it´s the opposite.A darker or tanned skin means you´re healthy and wealthy and you got some money to spend on holidays and vacations.

We are all painted strips of bacon in the end.
I like the smooth transition from halloween makeup extravaganza to the everyday makeup. Some of us are one smooth stroke of the makeup brush away from halloween everyday.

Fresh, I dunno if it's Hsu that runs it, or Matt Eversole.
I think It's Hsu since he had that blog hosted on the website before, now they integrated it onto a Tumblr.
It's a good blog.

Lol. I had to google Kate von D.
I've only seen that tattoo show once when I visited my brother who had limited channels and his neanderthal friend was watching that show.
Mormon's are always easy to clown.
