I searched for some video footage of that show, but couldn´t find.
Maybe it´s ripped out of context, or as the media likes to do misrepresented.But as he says in this statement: "The comment....
could be further explained...." So it wasn´t that much misrepresented what he said.And I agree on what he says about givin this guy a platform and coverage.But again totally wrong to relate those things.

In that context I read some of his earlier utterances.

As you can see I don´t agree with his way of dealing with this subject.
And his statement doesn´t make it any better and is no explaination at all.It explains something but not what he said in first place.

I just saw that Morrissey will be in Eindhoven in August wich an 1,5 hour
ride away from here.I thought about going there but after his last statements, I don´t know.I don´t think I could enjoy celebrating the
man on stage like I would like to.Wich is kinda sad.I think I spend these
80 Dollar in some books and give the change to soem homeless folks;

Don´t get me wrong, there´s nothing wrong with buying that smiths box I guess.I just realized that I don´t like the man that much to let him get away with stuff like that just because I like his music.

Maybe I´ll go there to take some pictures of the crowd and the whole scenario before and after the show.And there´s also a good skatepark just around the corner...We´ll see.

But speakin of artistic works from vegans.I ordered Teenage Kissers some weeks ago, hope that will find it´s way to my mailbox soon...

I saw that Morrissey thing also, it was on the news here in Norway. All the names of the victims have been released theese last few days over here. There have been many articles about the different youths killed in Utøya so it's not true that only the killer gets attention after a massacre, but he does get too much. I understand that Morissey wanted to put fokus on an industry that kills animals in a horrible way, but comparing it to Utøya was a bad idea that really shook most people in Norway and especially the people that knew the victims. It's not the same to shoot a bunch of chickens as to massacre tens and tens of teenagers on an island.

I agree with what you say.
I won´t dump his records and be the disapointed teenage fan,
who found out that he´s a racist. Or heterosexual, married with 5
children and fooled the world like MilliVanilli.

I will continue judging the man by his music and that´s what I always
did so far. You´re right.

And I also agree that there are people of low life quality and morals..
Well in some cases... I would def choose a chicken or a amoeba over
let´s say Hitler.But as you said..

Again, I just don´t think that I could fully enjoy his show and his
presence right now like I would like to.He made that disappointing,
brutal statement at a show, while people wanted to enjoy his music
and person and maybe also what he stands for, but he used that
situation to mix stuff up and (from what I read so far) disappointed
lots of fans, vegan or not.
Maybe that´s juvenile and harsh too, but it´s just the way I feel about
it at this point.

And I also agree that he maybe has no distinction and crossed a line,
wich is kinda strange to me, but that´s his opinion he probably can afford.Just because he makes great music doesn´t neccesarily mean that he a has a great view on all aspects of life or that I/we will agree with.
