Posted November 29th, 2010 by Tod Palin's massive porn collection
Skatevideos are like porn,
I have a massive collection, too.

I imagined that Lady jogging in Balerina,
came along with a squeezing sound of
her spine.Try SlipOns next time.

The guy at the Alexanderplatz reminds me
of the famous quote of Berlins Mayor:
\"Berlin is poor, but sexy.\" Somehow.

Robin Williams.
Another quote, sad but true,
but at least I can write at the same time.

I like the praising pose of the singer,
reminds me of Nick Cave.

Snakeboards(?) are badass.
We just haven´t realized yet.
Posted By: S van on November 29th, 2010 at 02:46AM PST
I just heard, there will be a snakeboard slalom contest,
the next Street League Series.
Posted By: S van on November 29th, 2010 at 02:52AM PST
I sure hope you helped that poor pregnant woman, that´s a really sad photo.
Posted By: emilie on November 29th, 2010 at 05:19AM PST
its really hard for me to notice the quality difference.

photos are nice. especially the pregnant woman on the curb. whats she doing? maybe her bloodsugar is low. that happens to me all the time and i get really irritable
Posted By: vinny on November 29th, 2010 at 08:38AM PST
The pregnant lady photo looks worse than it was in real life. She was just taking a rest in the shade, no big deal. If she was in distress I would have tried to help, rest assured.

...and Ed knows about pregnancy...
Posted By: S van on November 29th, 2010 at 11:58AM PST
I like the quote by Ken Burns and I am trying to relate it to the photo but for the life of me, I can't. Feelings of cynacism really can, and do lead to a life of pompous laziness if not practiced in moderation. Then again, everything in moderation is better... except air, and a few other things.

I was watching The Devil and Daniel Johnston last night and it resonated with me, maybe other people should check it out, so if you have the patience and/or strength to get through my long winded crappy comments you should check it out.

Also, in response to the comment about Ed's weight looking like it went down, it's very possible that it is the way that shirt is worn. I know plaid makes me look much better. Then other times people reassure me that I'm no longer fat and that makes me feel better altogether. I am my worst critic. And I'm very hard on myself. Speaking of shirts, my mom came up to visit me yesterday after not seeing or speaking to her for awhile. She got me this really sweet shirt. I didn't know it until I was looking closely at the details last night but it's a Vans Johnny Layton edition shirt and that got me even more stoked. it's one of the "Bird Call" series if you want to check it out since I'm too lazy to post the pictures of it.

I think JLay is a pretty cool guy. eh smokes weed and doesn't afraid of anything. seriously though, I wish I lived in california so I had more of a chance to talk with or hang out with more people that I find fascinating. I'm not such a bad guy myself.

Antwerp sounds like "antward" (sp?) which means "answer" in German. Just thought I would throw that out there. also, the picture of superman, is that a carnival game where you kill balloons with darts? looks like it. it also looks like you get 20 points if you hit superman near his dick.
Posted By: d1ggitydan on November 29th, 2010 at 12:19PM PST
Antwoord, is dutch. Antwort, german.

But both sound pretty much the same
and the way "antward" sounds in english.

Got through your comment;)

Origin of the name

According to folklore, and as celebrated by the statue in front of the town hall, the city got its name from a legend involving a mythical giant called Antigoon who lived near the river Scheldt. He exacted a toll from those crossing the river, and for those who refused, he severed one of their hands and threw it into the river Scheldt. Eventually, the giant was slain by a young hero named Brabo, who cut off the giant's own hand and flung it into the river. Hence the name Antwerpen, from Dutch hand werpen—akin to Old English hand and wearpan (= to throw), that has changed to today's warp.[4]

In favour of this folk etymology is the fact that hand-cutting was indeed practised in Europe, the right hand of a man who died without issue being cut off and sent to the feudal lord as proof of main-morte. However, John Lothrop Motley argues that Antwerp's name derives from an 't werf (on the wharf).[5] Aan 't werp (at the warp) is also possible. This 'warp' (thrown ground) would be a man made hill, just high enough to remain dry at high tide, whereupon a farm would be built. Another word for werp is pol (hence polders).

The most prevailing theory is that the name originated in the Gallo-Roman period and comes from the Latin antverpia. Antverpia would come from Ante (before) Verpia (deposition, sedimentation), indicating land that forms by deposition in the inside curve of a river. Note that the river Scheldt, before a transition period between 600 to 750, followed a different track. This must have coincided roughly with the current ringway south of the city, situating the city within a former curve of the river.

...and I was afraid of sounding like a smart arse;)
I will never again try to pour out my little knowledge.

The Belgians are funny folksand they like myths and stuff.
They´re also well known for their fantasy theme adventure parks,
I visited as a kid.Not surprising they have myths including giants.

Although the story is some you propably find in every culture.
Paying a toll to the ferryman, crossing the river, getting judged
in some way....

I propably go with the Gallo-Romans.
Did I say Gallo?

A post and a bed time story, sweet.
Posted By: john on November 29th, 2010 at 03:42PM PST
reading Ed\'s then Svenereal\'s post makes me start to think that maybe if it were Roman origination that it has something to do with River Styx and paying the Denaris to pass through to the after life. Does anyone know what I\'m saying? Anyhow- that\'s a pretty wicked story. Pretty hardcore if you ask me. Back then you had to have proof of death? wow I didn\'t even think about that. I don\'t think I would have the stomach to live in olden days. Especially European olden days.

Die Antwoord anybody?
Zef side.

In case you didn't know:

I got home from work, half assed through a math assignment, I'm starting to get sick. But i'm here to commentate. So my usual level of commentating isn't 100 percent.

Robin Williams quote made me LOL.
But I've actually written comments while having a boner and porn open in other tabs in my browser. So i'm not the only person here that's on the internet naked. I can multi task between brains. Suck it, Robin Williams.

I liked the Pregnant lady in the gutter.

Speaking of Pregnancy, I gave birth to a massive turd the other day. It was like 11 inches long. When I flushed, it got stuck for a second then eventually span around and entered the water tube to be sent off to another area where somebody's job is to filter da poo poo. Supporting the economy and creating jobs, one shit at a time.

Dan,this shirt?

"today's warp.[4]"
Dude,I like the citation. Even though there's no source reference. So dude, Ed, you copy this off Wikipedia? I'm 90% sure.

I don't know shit about German/Germany. Besides loads of white people.

Second dude is sponsored by Fallen. RXWXTXFX

Pretty weak tag.

Broken glasses, to me says "Fuck"

Razor scooters are faster than skateboards. And those Snakey Boards are a really fucking bad mode of transportation. Ed, do an impossible to tailgrab on one, I would enjoy it.

"Gent is beautiful, check it out."
I'll totally visit Gent due to these kilobytes that form a sentence, and change my life and spend loads of money. S Van, lemme stay in your home.

Thank god The Enablers link wasn't Myspace. Dude, somebody is going to come along and make a website to compensate for the loss of Myspace's Music section of their website since is total bullshit now. And Facebook sucks for following musicians.

It's Todd Palin. With Two D's. I just googled to find out who the F Tod Palin is.dude. Sarah Palin... :(
She's a real pain in my Liberal ass.

Speaking of Porn, I was looking at my Viva Hate record for like 15 minutes, glancing at it. Then I just ordered the Smiths Singles collection box set(Vinyl) thing. Paid fuckin' 100 dollars and bought it from somebody in Portugal. I hope it doesn't come all fucked up and missing parts of the box set. I'm gonna get a total boner looking at all that Album art at once.

I'm not gonna comment on the front page, because I'm tired. sorry, broz.

Ed,come sit on my lap. What do you want for Christmas?

Die Antword- yeah that's Diplo's new joke on dance scene. First Major Lazor and then Die Antword. Um- I spin and stuff so I know about all that stuff kids like these days. It's weird. And yeah, that's the exact shirt, except on mine the bird is black and white. I like it. I have a habit of wearing stuff for multiple days, so it's gotten some wear in time.

On the TM blog, the three photos of Leo playing I kept thinking 'they're going to release TM limited edition harmonicas'. jk. I like the stoic feeling those photos bring. It would be cool if Leo could play Flaminco style. Really get it spicy.

Last night I couldn't sleep at all- so I feel like skipping all my classes. I feel like sometimes I don't even know what I'm doing anymore as this year goes along, and all the days I haven't done anything with my life for so long and see all the young kids doing it. I'm going to go scrape ice off the car windshield.

Diggity spins!

Don´t forget the "jeugd van tegenwoordig"
(youth of today).

Another great thing our dutch/belgian friends
came up with: Eurodance!
They also invented and delieverd the stuff that
made you dance to that crap for days too.
They called it the nineties.

Grunge was big, but Techno was even bigger in
Europe, especially England, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium.
To me, it seems that it slowly made its way to the states.
Raves and all that. Straight Baselines in HipHop.
Electro trix and sounds in Chartmusic.

But as I said before, I love the Dutch people.
They´re a really liberal and open minded society
and I had a great time living and studying there.

BTW, Diggity, it´s nice to hear that you also have to
scrape ice now.Watching this blog made me almost
forget there is such a thing as winter.

Hey guys, I died for a few weeks.

MADNESS. Such is life.
A tree with only a few branches. Epic.
Mother Earth's phalanges.

She does look ready to blow...

Ah, the Dali mustache on grandma is funny.

I mees chu hombres.

See Brainwash in Germany:
Posted By: ed on November 30th, 2010 at 12:16PM PST
Dude,we're all epic dudes,dude.

Yeah,Jacob. I wonder where the hell you went.

Is Diggity Dan your DJ name? Toy Machine pawn party in the making. Major Lazer and Die Antwoord guaranteed.
What Gansta' beats does Hemlock have?

Anyway,I'm feeling more sick today. so I just skipped going to my spanish class and left college at 10 instead of like 1.
Speaking of Ice,I slipped down some stairs yesterday. Bruised the top of my right ass cheek. It's uncomfortable to sit, but whatever.

I was thinking about like Conservatives require an Imaginary friend(The Church) to give "hand outs" and whatever. It's against Capitalistic principles and whatever to donate money and help others. Plus conservatives don't believe in Science.
I'm guessing all of us commentors vote to the Left here. nobody has gotten mad yet.

You betcha.

Brainwash Premiere in Germany?
Did you just made that happen? For me?
I WILL be part of that stunt!
And only two more days to come!

I´ll try to catch some photos there.
Thanks, Ed!!

Of course, we´re all epic here.
And now even Sarah Pallin knows.
