A short trip to SF

San Francisco under great weather circumstances.

If Deanna looks at this, she will have nightmares about being abducted. I can't believe she even agreed to hold it.
"We have received credible reports that show a clear and consistent pattern: entire villages are looted, burned down and sometimes bombed. Large numbers of civilians have been killed and scores of women and children have been abducted, raped and tortured." –Jan Egeland

SF's resident photographer extraordinaire, Ray Potes gave us a tour of Hamburger Eyes.
7368img5556.JPG
Hamburger Eyes is a magazine, a darkroom, a collective, a publisher, a group of people who use cameras and film, it's all this and more. I met Dennis McGrath there to see the place, and to donate a piece of equipment to them that I never used. I hope some of the kids up there can get some use out of it.

Deanna was there too and we scored some of the new 'zines Ray has been making.

We are always telling Dennis he should be a teacher.
"All television is educational television. The question is: what is it teaching?" –Nicholas Johnson

Went back to the SF MOMA to see the Henri Cartier-Bresson show, and the "Exposed" photo exhibition, which we had seen at the Tate in London, but thought was better here. This is a detail of the Barry McGee installation. The guy in the picture is Andrew J. Wright. (See the bigger photos on my last SF post.)

Yeah, dude. Ed's just trying to shock us by licking a photo of a little brown boy's buttock he's already signed.
Jk.
Made me LOL. I wonder what that kid's mother thinks.

I was thinking, I kinda regret not bleaching my hair or dyeing it green or some shit when I was in highschool. Since I have a job, they probably wouldn't like me having retarded hair. Or I could go total badass and just do it, but then I won't have an outlet to exchange hours of my life into paper and numbers.

I used to be afraid of Aliens and shit when I was like 12. But I realized that if they had the intelligence to come here, I'm sure they have the ability to farm and grow Humans from all the samples of Gametes they I guess had taken. so they wouldn't need to abduct anyone else to obtain more samples. Or that's what I tell myself before bed so I feel ok.

I have glasses like the guy in the second photo. Don't worry, they're actual prescription.but I mostly wear my contacts. Plus mine are brown. Total murderer glasses.

Hamburger eyes. I like the ring to it.

Speaking of Teaching. I registered for a photography class. I guess I'm gonna learn how to develop black and white photos. Get ready for my blog to not be so retarded. or whatever.

Ha.little photo,surrounded by big photos.

I still like that photo of Ed licking check. Did Deanna take that photo? If so, she's a trooper.

Too bad that photo wasn't at a grocery store so a nice family couldn't look at you all weird and shit.....too bad....for me! That would suck for you, but it's a funny story.

I used to draw aliens all the time when I was little. Some with weird hats, some with horns, some with earrings, halos, smoking, bloody teeth.....What the fuck is wrong with me? haha Aliens were big when i was a kid, alright. That's all I have to say about that.

What did you donate?

why do all aliens look like giant fetuses?

dude, jgonz...i had long ass dread locks 6 years ago and i had an eyebrow and lip ring
i thought i was so cool.

later i let my hair grow very long (again) and abstained from combing, brushing, or shampoo it, which lead to a huge tangled mop that resembled a mix of edward scissorhands and shane cross. then i dyed dark maroon and finally black.

fuck it, bro, its never too late to dye it! do it! say youre going through a pre-mid life crisis as an excuse.

rimjobs are the new wet-willies.

As a kid I watched Logan`s Run
and had nightmares for years,
thinking we all gonna die when we turn 30.

Later I found out my parents already passed that.

Aliens?
Never heard of, I mean... over Europe?

Always down for Ed getting in some inappropriate action.

Jgonz, get a Mexmoz;)
Posted By: S van on November 23rd, 2010 at 10:59AM PST
Yeah, fresh. Fuck Greys. It's all about the reptoids.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reptoids

You didn't even wash your hair? Is that how you get Dread locks? I've never known how.

I'll wait to get more comfortable at my job, then maybe dye it. As you can see, I'm a total pussy.

S van, imagine if Moz had dreadlocks. His glorious hair is thinning.
I'm overdue for a haircut right now. I get my sides buzzed and the top cut, then comb it over. That's my usual.

Man,imagine waking up and your friend is giving you a rim job. Jesus.

Hamburger eyes rules.
Nice pics of Barry and Margaret.
Ed did you see that Takashi Homma has the Sect in the first pages of his Daughter and Tokyo book?
I'm suffering from toddler induced back spasms and can rarely sit in a chair until this very moment here. Bummer but it's all good and it seems nuts but I've been learning some serious life shit while contemplating the ceiling.
Hope all is good with all out there.
