deanna also utilizes the photo blob. but her entire set up is more "linear" and "clean." nevertheless, she has a mix of styles you don't often see in photography.

photographs are sweet. as I get older I notice more about compositional things. especially since I'm in this printmaking class and finding out everyday that it's all about the TECHNIQUE (even if that means randomly taking a picture on the fly on a subpar camera/camera phone becuase something strikes your fancy right then and there).
Deanna must have a large feeling of contentment in her life to be with such a cool guy like Ed, but also, Ed must feel even more happy since he has such a cool wife that is so involved in the same things as he is. Often I wonder if she would ever want to go on skate tours with ed just to keep him company or get the chance to see more oppurtunities for photos. It must suck going on tour or being away, skateboarding and your wife is at home. Distance and yearning make a heart ache.
I keep trying to think about the international Toymachine but it never seems to work out in my small brain. I remember the post from Jgrandala where it showed a Japanese Toy posse. was it real? probably. Most teams have an international team. Sock Team: NO EXCEPTION!!!!

i was looking through some mike maldanado stuff yesterday and I remember having like a shit ton of his photos from Transworld up on my bedroom wall. one photo that comes to mind in particular is this huge HUGE boardslide down a rather long hubba that is in black and white and then this other where he's ollieing off a gigantic dumpster into the street.

Yep, Prop 19 got voted down. Thanks to all the old farts that think it's somehow worse than alcohol. I voted "Yes" even though it would most likely destroy the local economy where I live. Or maybe improve it. It was a gamble. But I thought it was similar to Alcohol prohibition which was brought on by religious people, that lead to Violance and Al Capone's ass and in this case I guess Mexicans and Douche Bag growers that fight each other. Anyway, the general public doesn't know that not everyone that smokes weed is glued to a couch. I've seen alcoholics totally rage and lose control, the worst thing I've seen a stoner do is fall asleep or gorge on food. Anyway, the argument against it contained something about Children will be harmed since there aren't any guidelines saying you can't smoke weed at work,like common sense/decency is going to be thrown out the window, and they specifically used an example that a School Bus Driver will go to work high and crash and all the little kids would die. It reminded me of Otto from the Simpson's. Oh well, that's my little opinion.
But hey, at least Meg Whitman dumped all of her money into a campaign, and lost to Brown who didn't even campaign that much until later. And Gavin Newsom won, he has some badass slicked back hair.

Hey Vinny, nice.
You really get to see some Germany on your stay.
Well making recommendations, is depending on
what you´re looking for.It´s propably good or even
necessary to have some local guidance there.
Berlin is packed with stuff to discover and get
inspired of.It´s like going to New York or
something, what recommendations do you have?
But....
Berlin-Mitte, Friedrichshain, Pankow/Kreuzberg
are like most frequented parts of the city and you´ll
propably find everything"cool" you heard of Berlin,
there.
Berlin-Mitte is like all new and pretty much what
you expect of a modern metropole.
Typical modern architecture, bars and stuff.
Friedrichshain and Pankow especially Kreuzberg
are more "rough" and interessting ,especially
Kreuzberg is the place where most of evertyhing
art happens, and ever since happend.
Also, I guess, it´s like the most famous part of
Berlin outside of Berlin, with it´s long traditional
riots, on every first of may, since 23 years now.
I would guess that´s more your direction, so
going there shouldn´t be disappointing at all.
There are also places I wouldn´t go myself at
times, but you just don´t stumble into them.
As I said, it should be the best to get some local
at hand but as I also said, there´s so much to discover
you propably just get sucked in and have a good time.
My best wishes for that.

Berlin-Mitte, Friedrichshain, Pankow/Kreuzberg
are like most frequented parts of the city and you´ll
propably find everything"cool" you heard of Berlin,
there.
Berlin-Mitte is like all new and pretty much what
you expect of a modern metropole.
Typical modern architecture, bars and stuff.
Friedrichshain and Pankow especially Kreuzberg
are more "rough" and interessting ,especially
Kreuzberg is the place where most of evertyhing
art happens, and ever since happend.
Also, I guess, it´s like the most famous part of
Berlin outside of Berlin, with it´s long traditional
riots, on every first of may, since 23 years now.
I would guess that´s more your direction, so
going there shouldn´t be disappointing at all.
There are also places I wouldn´t go myself at
times, but you just don´t stumble into them.
As I said, it should be the best to get some local
at hand but as I also said, there´s so much to discover
you propably just get sucked in and have a good time.

how is it that you guys get daily shipments of socks? I was actually telling someone about that actual slim percentage of lose for Prop19 and it was funny because it turned into a huge conversation about pros and cons of weed and there weren't like any cons to it. I don't get it. I know weed up here isn't so looked down on and I am very surprised that it isn't already legal up here or on the West coast.
