Speaking of Magazines, it looks like Thrasher has fully embraced the "SB" division of Nike corporation. And all the acolytes of skateboarding now accept it,since the magazine totally dictates others thoughts.

Pavement was suppose to play here at the Target center but I never got tickets and I think that boat has already sailed.

Personally I like "Goo" and "Dirty" the most out of all the SY library but that's probably because it's what I was introduced to first. I don't dislike Murray Street at all, there are a few good tracks on it, but I like the angsty loud wailing distorted sounding SY as oppose to the very "happy clean" SY like on Rather Ripped (not to say I don't listen to Rather Ripped, I just prefer one over the other if I have a choice)

I will try to answer your questions as honestly as I can. I doubt you will sympathize with them, because you have already formed your opinion of me it seems. So here you go.

I broke my neck, and have had 6 concussions. I'm the first to say that this is the best job ever, but it is not easy. I have also run a company for 17 years. And also driving the van across country every year, getting my group of guys on time to each demo on a tour that I set up from scratch. I guess you wouldn't know how much work and time goes into making a skateboard graphic, but I can tell you that I spend many hours in front of a computer to make all of this happen. Clearly you don't understand what it takes to have a career as long as mine, or what goes into running a company, so I'm not sure why I'm wasting my time with this answer. Was I an asshole to you personally? Have you ever met me? I'm not putting on a show, I'm living my life. My life is Toy Machine. If the "show" is meaningless to you, I'm sorry. I'm not claiming that I'm a genius, but to me there is a meaning in both my artwork and in Toy Machine. I meant no offense for the Thunder video. It was supposed to be funny. I of course do not think that females are inferior to men, and perhaps the comedy was incorrect. I think things are funny sometimes because they are wrong.

I'm bummed on this AETM guy.
Look at the personal responses he's gotten, and he didn't even have to use his real name. The internet is a sometimes wonderful, sometimes horrible place. You can openly say anything you want to anyone, and you don't even have to identify yourself, and Ed's going to read it because he cares enough to put his life on display here. It's just like insulting someone to their face, except they can't see your face to insult you back. Without trying to be too nasty here, it's really cowardly.
I'm also confused as to why you've followed Ed since 1990, buying all of his videos and books, only to insult him about it all in 2010...20 years later...on the internet...using a fake name. I follow Ed's work because I admire it. His skating, his photography, his painting, and this blog all function together in such a way that you feel like you know this complete stranger who has enjoyed a life supported by art and skateboarding. There's definitely something to envy there, but hating like this is pointless and cowardly.

I don't have some story of how I've been following you for 20 years, I'm only 15, and my name is john. Three years ago I saw I toy machine in my local shop, so I bought it. I don't know why, maybe the art on it, maybe not. But I remember coming back to this site everyday and commenting since then and only buying shit from toy. I still skate everyday, and I'm a fucking twig, I way 130 pounds and I'mm like 5 10, (maybe, I don't have a good sense of height but I'm tall and skinny.)Hopefully I won't end up like you. I was never into art until last year, which is probably when I started commenting on the ed part of the site. I've been a vegetarian since I was 12 so it was cool when I found out you're a vegan. You influenced ma and you still do.
