New post coming soon.

Photo of me flailing a 180 from around 1987 or '88 at the Pay&Play basketball courts across from HB high school.
Jason Lee, same night, same place. One footed ollie.

I love seeing these old pictures, crazy to see how different things are now but the same at the same time if that makes any sense

"Well,back in my day..."
Just kidding.
Great photos.

Dude,I just saw Stay Gold. Jerry's part is my favs. I guess I need to let this video sink in, too gnarly. Reynold's has that onslaught of all hammers at the end. Wowzers. Anyway, everything that needs to be said about that video has already been said pretty much.

So is the post following this one so gnarly it needs hype?

Some of my favorite skate photos(s) of Jason Lee.

Did that top picture get flipped or something? I looks like you are skating goofy.

I think I'm addicted to Stay Gold. I've watched the whole thing twice today, and Leo's part like 6 times. I would watch Reynold's part just as much, but it almost makes me cry.

Hey Ed, do you know who Lee Friedlander is? look at this!
Doesn't it sound familiar? I just think its interesting.

I wish Jason Lee still skated. I envied his flow so hard the first time I saw Video Days.
Stay Gold is just plain abusive. Too much gnar to handle. Westgate and Suski have my favorite parts. Reynolds is too much to handle. Leo's got some stiff competition for SOTY this year, all from within the Emerica family. My local skateshop doesn't have the deluxe edition in yet but you better bet your ass I'm gonna grab that shit up as soon as it's in. The iTunes version is a decent placeholder, but nothing beats a real DVD. Is it true you have a full part on the deluxe edition? Some websites are getting my hopes up. I would be psyched on a new Tempster part.

Not true, unfortunately.

Hey Robert, yeah I have this book. Very cool. Similar in theme to my recent book, but not in content. Most of my photos are from a moving car, and they are collected over 15 years, not made in one period. I like his work, I like that he uses the car in every picture.

Yeah, I thought it was pretty interesting. I'm definitely going to try to order this book, and other books.

Hey, I think that was my launch ramp at Pay&Play! Ricky Barnes and myself started that whole thing. Jason and I use to get driven around town by a guy named Mr. Ellis who worked at 7-11 to different places to skate. I won first place in overall CASTLE 1A...Great pics, brings back many memories. I have some of my own, I'll save that for Facebook...LOL!
