Photos taken from a moving vehicle, cool. Makes my comment all that more appropriate. The regulars may hate me for it, and I'm going to make this disclaimer in advance: I'm sorry for fanning out too hard.
I'm a regular blog lurker and an infrequent commenter. Big fan of your skating and your art. About a month ago my girlfriend and I went to see the "Perspectives" Exhibit at the ICP in New York. I think I commented on here about it, but it was awesome. We both really loved your section, and it was clear that you were the star of the show. At that time I went into the ICP store looking to see if they had any of your books and I found "The Seconds Pass." Unfortunately I could not afford the book at the time. I was sad, but I still had just seen a really rad exhibit (and got more than I bargained for with the awesome civil rights movement exhibit downstairs), so all in all life was good. Flash forward to today, my birthday, and much to my surprise my girlfriend gave me "The Seconds Pass" as a gift. I was incredibly excited, and upon reading the book I'm even more stoked. Thank you for creating an awesome book, Ed. It made the perfect birthday gift.

So,college starting in less than a week for me. Maybe my blog will be cooler, or still suck since I'll be taking photos of people instead of talking to them.
Ed,you look pretty good in the second pic. More young and vibrant than what I've been seeing lately,too much sun maybe? I bet you're looking forward to winter.No more toasted skin for you. Winter break is torture.

When I was in Oregon a couple of weeks ago there was a ton of Christian music on the radio and Christian propaganda on the side of the road. Plus I saw a group of Emo/Scene fellas setting up their band in front of a Church for some "Safe and Positivity festival"
Plus there aren't a million tags everywhere like in CA. I've never been to Portland though, doesn't seem as lame as Medford.

Woo, iPhone! I can't afford one, but I'd love to have one haha. I read that review of your show at ICP and Ken Johnson (the dude who wrote the article and side note: his name sounds like a total WASP name) is fucking lame. He seems like he's bored of life. I enjoyed the show and like Sean said, it was clear you were the star of the show. Anyway, I really missed looking at this blog when my computer was fucked.

My 4 Day Date: this fellow that I've been friends with since 04 (he lives out of town) came to visit this past weekend. we had a date last year when I was in NYC, and this past weekend he came to visit me! he's so dreamy!

ed, i sincerely recommend the channel islands. for 6 years in a row i went with my parents. my step dad is chumash indian and super into his culture, my mom is also native and each year a few chumash men paddle a wood plank canoe called a tomol from ventura harbor to santa rosa island("Limu"). its absolutely gorgeous there and completely vacant. you can hike for miles with no one around. possibly have sex ona sea cliff. its beautiful. it costs $50. worth it.
hemmies, kewt. im glad we have a gay guy on here who is down and how all of us are down. were building this weird internet friendship into a vast ocean of bffs on facebook. excuse my softness. im depressed because i have no home. carolyns brother and i got into a heated shout match because he was making her cry and i got the boot for it. im living on my sisters couch until i find a better job and place to live on my own. luckily im still in the same city where my job and school is. i can only hope for the best.
oh, drew, i have friends in portland, but beside that im in love with that city. portland, oregon will be my home someday.
i wont be commenting as much.
