get Leticia Bufoni on the Toy team. my guess is that because she rips, and because she's gonna be a major babe when she gets older, that MTV will give her her own tv show, skater dudes (and non skater dudes, alike) are gonna have the major hots for her, more chicks are going to accept skateboarding as a "radical" subculture, and skateboarding will reign supreme.

and cool photos.

Great posts over the last week!
What beautiful places.
I've been at sea with no access to anything. It is a remarkable experience to lose all contact by choice.
Happy Birthday!

I take it this is more of an Art oriented post.

how did you get all those girls to pose by that London Eye thing?

I like that photo of the kids with their mom. The girl has her hand on the building and is crying and the boy has a funny face.

There isn't a Poster name

They were posing for their friend and I walked by and snapped them...
Posted By: ed on August 13th, 2010 at 12:33PM PST
Ah, that trick. When people are posing for a photo, take one too.
Posted By: Jgonzalez on August 13th, 2010 at 01:29PM PST
Ah, good photos!

The first two girls are modeling. Gettin' real hot.
London girls. Is the accent as sexy as it seems?
Not trying to creep out or anything..

So, when I was taking a road trip to Arizona, I shot this photo of a homeless lady at a random rest stop. I had waited years to catch a photo of a homeless person, & when I took it I just walked by casually, focused, took the shot, handed her a banana & a water, & it was gravy. I thought I had just taken my favorite photo, but when it was developed it wasn't good at all. I thought the b&w would take care of whatever was lacking. Nope. Just a bad photo. But I still acknowledge it, & it's on my blog.

I love the 3rd to last photo.

Good quotes. Billy Bragg sounds like he knows his shit. Good tunes too.
Carl Sagan & I will smoke weed together one day.

That meteor shower last night was alright. There were some huge ones that left thick, grey/blue trails in the sky. We hiked a few miles up to this great, flat spot in Modjeska Canyon. A pretty mountain town. Stayed there until 3:30am.

There was a cop by our car on the walk back, & I had about 15 bucks worth of pot & a few containers, & a glass pipe. My sister's boyfriend had some weed & a Louisville Slugger. Had to ditch everything.
My sister just so happened to forget her medical marijuana license in the car.

Shitty.

I only tell you guys this personal shit because I feel comfortable typing it on this blog.

Jacob,
Carl Sagan is dead.

Why did you guys have a baseball bat? What would you be doing with that? Did you guys end up getting busted?
Posted By: ed on August 13th, 2010 at 02:18PM PST
I just looked at your photo. What's wrong with it? Perfectly fine photo.
Posted By: ed on August 13th, 2010 at 02:19PM PST
Holy shit. I honestly had no idea.
I'll smoke him out when I go to hell.

My sister's boyfriend is a city folk, & he thought he'd have to fight off mountain lions & bears, which is never the case in those mountains. The cop sat around waiting, but we sat just as long. He eventually drove on down the road, which is when we sprinted to the car & peaced out.

Thank you. It just didn't come out the way I wanted it to.
There will be more homeless people...

I didn't see anything wrong with it either. I felt more bad for the dog than the person, call me an asshole but every person has done something fucked up in there life. What has a dog ever done wrong.

These quote post are the best!

those pics and quotes turned me EMO..
i have a huge crush on a friend..
her thought and presence makes me FEEL.
it breaks my heart we will never be a couple, but you know what? i care enough for her that i want her to be happy, and ill be a friend to support her in any way possible. i dont want a lady nor she wants a dude; what she needs is a man and what i need is a female partner in crime that could be her.
my wish during all this meteor shower week is and has been for both her and i to be happy together.

yea i also feel comfortable writing personal corny shit thats unrelated to the post in this blog.

Fresh, get as deep as you want.
Not only is this Ed Templeton\'s blog, but it\'s a place of comfort amongst the few that care enough to hear about your day, or just your normal life experiences. I honestly wish I could meet all of you. You all seem genuine. I\'m glad to be apart of this weird blog.

I feel more comfortable on this blog than I do in the house I grew up in.
& my chances of getting hacked or spammed in my childhood home are way higher than on this internet website.

Thank you, John.
Now I feel like I just threw a pity party, & most of you are decent enough to reply with good hearts.

I hate working graveyard shifts. I just got off, & I wreak like onions & gooch.

Ya, some people I hang out with can be douche bags sometimes and I can honestly say I like you guys more than them. And I think that's why I don't like to many new guys,, because if we let to many in then this will just be a place for people comment on shit and keep it relevant to the post without sharing any real thoughts or opinions.

I have a girlfreind but i have this crush on this chick.I would love to leave my girlfreind for this girl but i dont wanna hurt her.It fuckin kills ME.BUT most of all my freinds dnt skate anymore,, they would rather get fucked up all the time.So I am planning to leave this damned town.
Posted By: josiah on August 14th, 2010 at 11:58AM PST
I use to be a hometown hero then I moved away from my hometown and now I'm a lowlife zero.

But it's cool to know there are other people out there that are as fucked up as I am or maybe not... I don't know.

All I know is skateboarding and drawing get me stoked and I"m trying to challenge myself and get back to my roots. Albeit I am old (in "skateboarding years") but I have faith in our Overlords (aka Skate Gods) that I can get back into it and be genuinely happy again.

Those London girls are pretty.

Diggity, same here. Everyone knew Jacob Kirkby in Yorba Linda/Esperanza high school. I moved to Huntington Beach to live with my girlfriend, & I'm ever so happy, I just have maybe 1 friend, other than Carolyn.

Josiah, dude, be careful. Just be careful. No one doesn't get hurt from those things, unless you have no feelings for your girlfriend. Make the right choice. Carolyn pops my pimples & blackheads, & likes that I am chubby, doesn't mind if I smell or don't shave, doesn't care if my back is getting hairy, but then again, you're not engaged. Do what you want.

Skateboarding & music for me.
Posted By: Jacob on August 14th, 2010 at 05:04PM PST
John, you can just X your window and ignore us. People in real life, you have to deal with. Like when your friend just doesn't know when to leave or something.

Fresh,How do you know you'll never be a couple? (Unless she's married or if she has a Boyfriend already, then that'll take a while to blow over)

Josiah, just break up with your current girlfriend since you're not in love enough to only have feelings for her.

D1ggity, being labeled "Fucked up" is only relevant to who's saying, because everyone's perception of "fucked up" is different.

Jacob,you engaged?Ooooooooooooooooooohhhhh!!
Where's my damn invitation. Sit me next to Fresh and Hemlock Drew.Eggs Mcmanus, Turtleboy's twin,Devin Briggs,d1ggitydan,john,vinny,Aldo dibella,(mixmaster)Mike...the list goes on..

That would be weird sitting in a table of people that I only know because of these electronic characters they post on this blog.

Dr. Jordan.

Yeah, I've been for a few months now.
When we have a wedding, I'll have all of the Toy affiliates at one table.

Devin would only put stickers of "devinbriggs.com" everywhere...

Congratulation Jacob. this is one of those awkward comments where I have nothing else to say.
Posted By: john on August 15th, 2010 at 11:10AM PST
I was wondering, if you have a wedding, will there be a need for a Wedding Photographer? Or will your whole wedding album be in Polaroids. jk.

Mini-ramp at the wedding reception? Let me start a rumor.
Have your wedding in Humboldt,so I can go.
Congratulations!!wooooooo.
Posted By: Jgonzalez on August 15th, 2010 at 12:26PM PST
Thanks, John! No need to say anything else.
This isn't new news.
We've been engaged for several months now.

We will have a wedding photographer. I'll for sure have my Canon AE-1 on me. Black & white wedding. You can shoot photos on your phone & post them to http://jgonz4ever.tumblr.com

Polaroids are $20+ for ten exposures.
Fuck if I ever buy Polaroid film again.

I'd love to have a min-ramp at the reception.
Do guys just wanna be our wedding planners?
Humboldt? Maybe. too far for family & friends, but then again it is our wedding. You'll have a job & money by the time we get married.
Posted By: Jacob on August 15th, 2010 at 02:09PM PST
My wedding planning would include showing up at a park really early and just making sure no one takes up the benches by putting my jackets all over the place. That's about all I'd do.

ha,you made a funny. cell phone pics FTW

It's news to us.

Since weed will most likely be legal soon, I wonder if it'll be incorporated into social gatherings like alcohol is.Imagine that.

Have your reception at The Berrics
Posted By: Jgonzalez on August 15th, 2010 at 02:50PM PST
dude, i started drinking, but i dont consider myself a drinker.
i only get drunk at special events, like weddings (wink wink at Jacobo) and most likely ill be under the influence of alcohol at the emerica premiere in 2 days.
berrics? thats so yesterday.
biebels world all day
jk, no, but seriously, lets have a blast at your wedding, brah.
