Nuoro, Italy, Part 2
Mostly work – if I work hard, I might be able to take a few days off and go to the coast...
Deanna took this photo of me, she said the light was good for me. (Oh and that I looked handsome.) When does the blog get completely gratuitous? I guess when I'm traveling and don't have B&W photos to put up, I do these travel posts, that start feeling creepy, like I'm just advertising my life. But fuck it, I do it for my friends and the web-lurkers, and loyal Toy Pawns.
While working, instead of the very so-cal chips and salsa, in Italy we rock Sardinian flat-bread and olive spread.

I was being interviewed by a surfing magazine, and a skater dude at the same time. Deanna covered the event.
Then I painted some clouds in my boxers, unsuccessfully I might add.
This is Biancone and Vincenzo cutting a giant wooden word bubble for me. Vincenzo calls it "The Tongue." These guys are the hardest workers ever! We got so ahead of ourselves, that we were able to take the weekend off. (post of that coming soon)

don't feel self infatuated: these are just all the pics that never got put up before because of technical difficulties.
you should get one of those little fans that is powered by batteries and walk around when it's hot. Super touristy. also a visor. and sunglasses. or not.
are the mosquitoes bad over there? Do they have those? I have like a million bites all over from playing frisbee at the park. I have been avoiding the daytime since we've been having 90+ degree weather for the past few days and it's torture....but I like it. better than the snow.
yesterday I sent in an envelope to tum yeto for stickers. I use to do that when I was a kid and I figured why not keep with tradition? I drew on the envelope. fun.
even though I don't want to admit it; I want to win that free Matt B deck. I'm poor as hell after the move and I love getting stuff in the mail. I think everyone secretly likes getting stuff in the mail. Even if it isn't a contest winning board. I started sending off mail to all my friends and family. Just letters. I think sometimes people get letters and automatically think it might be bad news since they are so use to NOT getting letters.
I still find enjoyment in the novelty of things. when I use to smoke- I liked to roll my own cigarettes by hand. It just added that novelty...and cancer....and bad smell. I'm not ripping on smokers. I just have to remind myself why I quit. Then again- oreos can give you cancer.. CURSE YOU WORLD!

went skateboarding today... it was 95+ with humidity.
