Just looked at SkateMental catalog and they have some sweet sized boards... by sweet I mean "fucking lame ass 8 inchers all around" not that I don't like a wide board but what happened to variety? All I see are 8 inch boards with teeny tiny 50mm wheels. I like a good 54mm with a 7.75 board..... guess times are a changin...
I have a tiny harmonica, but I don't know what a caftan is. Sweet thing we got pics to look at. Thank you Ed for figuring out their primitive tech over there.

I like an 8.2. But who cares right, it's only a quarter of an inch, but it feels to weird if it's any smaller or bigger. Fuck an 8, deal with it while you still can because creatures all 9 inches.
If I had an egg I would try it now but I don't and it's not hot enough here.

actually I use to skate an 8 way back in the day. A few of them. I'm old now though and don't feel like busting an ankle to try and flip a plank. Just sayin. Then again I should give it another go since that's how all boards are turning out. But don't you guys remember when the guy who rode an 8 was a "vert guy" or a "transition guy"?
You have to admit that the small wheels with wide decks isn't very logical. then again I always thought smaller wheels were kinda retarded to begin with in any circumstance. Why wouldn't you want to go fast? Then again I'm an old man jaded and confused.
Today was uneventful. I couldn't skate because of the weather; Cloudy with chance of ARMAGEDDON.
