my friend just went thru the deforer book and we had a dialogue about it
heres what was determined
C-stuff like that makes humanity seem too brutal for my liking....
D- i always thought it was super important to be at peace with humanities brutality, that it would result in me having a better footing in harsh reality, and that by forcibly viewing the rawness of humanity, it would root me to the ground and make it so i could take fear and brutality
but i still fear a lot of things and am quite anxious
wether or not theres that direct a value in exposing yourself, or in templetons case, exposing it to others, its certainly made me feel a lot better about myself and my -at times- very fucked up ideas and thoughts
i dont know how well templeton knows himself tho, ive always HOPED he knew what he was doing
take a step back and look, i dunno im bored at work
