Christmas Eve 2009

And all through the house. Some dusty old photos set to Bauhaus.
"We should declare war on North Vietnam. We could pave the whole country and put parking strips on it, and still be home by Christmas." –Ronald Reagan
Last year my grandparents both power-napped during our family present opening.
Suburban Displays.
This guy is around the corner from me.
Trees. Chop, buy, decorate, enjoy, trash.

Merry Christmas Eve to the Loyal Pawns, the Frequent Commenters, The unwashed masses who never comment, and any combination of the three. To the Hardcore skaters who buy truly deserving brands, (subject of great debate, not assuming you would decide Toy Machine is or isn't)  and even to the mall kids who at the very least decided they like skateboarding better than football, there is a glimmer of hope for you, the door has not shut. Merry Christmas!

Merry christmas to all the frequent commenters.
I salute you.
Jacob, how's that board I gave you?
Hope it worked...

Oh lord... At least no one around your part of town battles for best front lawn nativity scene. Carolyn & I smoked a few bowls then drove around HB harbor & holy shit do people go all out... One house was playing some heavy metal version of a Christmas song.

Devin, I strapped up, busted a few kickflips, got used to the size, & my friend Jeff wanted to pole (board) jam off my deck & up & over an extended six, & my board broke in the process... & so did my buddy's leg. haha.

Thank you though. I wanna buy a jokers deck next week though.
Let's get Ed to take a day off & go skate with us.

Happy Holidays pawns.

Whenever I listen to "She's in Parties". I think of Matt Bennett.
Put some Toy stickers on it and pretend.
I went and saw a live nativity scene, they gave us a little ornament attached to a card, and on the card it says "Wise men still see him" in reference to Jesus. That's debatable.
I'd say Toy Machine is pretty 'core, bro. Aren't a lot of Tum Yeto stuff made in the USA?or at least Mexico.
We burn our Christmas tree, use the twigs for kindling and shit. You let that mofo dry up in the yard then chop it up.
LOL @ your grandparents.At leas they're their,doing family stuff.

If you wanna loan me 50 bucks...

I remember when shop decks were 20 bones, & the brand decks were 35-40 clams.

Now they're what, 47 greens? Plus grip.

Does inflation play a role in this?
It would really help if boards cost that much.
Posted By: Jgonzalez on December 24th, 2009 at 11:43AM PST
No way!

I hate having to buy a used board off one of my friends for ten dolla billz.
