Hey Ed
How can I get in touch with you in NYC if I can't get in at the MoMA?
How should I phrase this to not sound like a fucking stalker?

it was kind of wack.... i blame this on a few things odell for one... didnt have his shit together... he seemed to be mainly interested in spike and gonz... and his opinions were too one sided. he pretty much said that lance mountain was the worst of the best... wtf? and the second is the big assumption that everyone there knew who you guys were or what you were talking about there were no introductions no nothing... i saw you up there trying to get a few words in... better luck next time... which there probably wont be one... ever. haha still i suppose it was cool just to be able to say you spoke there. even though you didn't really say anything.

phelps needs to pass on already... it was funny for a minute as usual but it just gets old like he pretends not to be.

Dear I was at the mona,

yes, the thing did have some flaws, but I was fascinated with what lance had to say about the bones brigade and found gonz in a good and funny mood which was enjoyable. But I can see that the part of the crowd who was unaware with who everyone was would be searching for some context, true.

I did say a few things! But you are right, I did want to say more things but was either to shy or not willing to cut in... Perhaps I should have barged!

I wanted to give some context, but everyone kept making it sort of light and "insidery" but overall, being a "jaded industry insider" I was interested in what was being said, so for the skaters in the audience I am hoping they enjoyed it as much as I did, but the non-skaters may have been lost a bit. Although I did speak to one non-skater who enjoyed seeing the videos.

Overall it is an impossible subject to try and smash into an hour presentation and short panel discussion.

Sorry for the misspellings above...

Presentations about good stuff always feel too short.
Lectures about boring stuff always last an eternity.
It's damn cold in nyc. I hope you brought your mittens.

thinking about it now i didn\'t know what to expect.. and i think that was the same feeling everyone had i\'m sure even you guys up on the panel...
.
i also had questions... i just wasn\'t able to think of them for the short time it was going on or one worth asking... after that dude asked about sheckler it was dead anyway
should have barged as well.

it was cool to see gonz jump from the stage and run off to give the mic up... gives us young guys some hopes in the way of physical longevity. i was also intrigued by lance\'s memories and his insistent humility.

anyway many thanks to you guys above all criticisms i may have hahah.

best museum date my girlfriend ever made me go on. haha

ps.. phelps man... he\'s just phelps i take it back haha. fucktard

Ed, I took my friend to a photo book store in Paris and was talking about how cool it was that they had some of yours and Deanna's rare stuff. The owner asked if I knew you and I said no I knew "of you" because I skate. He was stoked and said you go in there sometimes when you are in Paris. I absolutely love that shop in the Marais district.
