Bobby Marksteiner sends in some old photos
Attached are some photos I took with a disposable camera from a Toy demo in the early late 90s, I'm thinking around 98 or so. Brian Anderson, Elissa, Kerry Getz and Maldonado were still on the team. The demo took place in the parking lot of the Skate Shack in Lisle, Illinois. I believe that Josh Harmony rode for this shop at one point long before he was even a glimmer in the Sect's eye. Anyways I'd like to pass on these photos and thank Ed and the rest of the team at the time for putting on demos under such shitty circumstances (homemade ramps, sketchy parking lot pavement) before skateparks were prevalent. It's 11 or so years later, I'm 28 years old now, still skating, and still a loyal pawn.Bobby Marksteiner

Damn. So surreal... this is the shop I go to. There was another SkateShack in Westmont but closed down recently due to Zumiez Skate Whore... I didn't know Harmony used to be sponsored by them...

I was about 7 or 8 when this demo happened.
This was when I stole Welcome to Hell from the older skater down the street from me. He ended up giving me his little rail & box when he moved... I felt like shit.

I\'m pretty sure he rode for Skate Shack before RQ I remember him skating in contests wearing a bright yellow Skate Shack shirt. At the time Adam Tobler was on RQ and Josh was on Skate Shack and they would always hash it out for first and second.

good stuff im in the photo with steamer on the far left. i remember i ripped all the skin off my hand because that parking lot sucked. got my first board at skate shack in 1990 got my most recent board at yeah. good photos BA ripped that spine, thanks
