I wish there was a shop -- ANY SHOP -- in Sacramento that had the RVCA dvd.

Sweet pics, Eddie. I keep saying I want to get into photography... but... eh... I don't know where to start.

hey ed, nice photos
what type of camera do you use?
Posted By: flo on May 19th, 2009 at 04:39PM PST

Pick up a camera and you are officially a photographer.
Boo-Ya! just like that. So easy.

Then study photo books at a GOOD art bookstore.
Apply what you learn to your photos.

p.s. Sorry to be a bother, Ed, but is there a book or two you would suggest??! Thanks buddy.

Start with Robert Frank, Danny Lyon, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Garry Winogrand, and for younger (more colorful) people, Alec Soth, Alex Webb, Ryan McGinley.

Go to the photography section and start picking up books and looking through them, study them, think about what it takes to make the photos, and go try to do it.
