Hey Ed, what manual camera models would you suggest Ebaying?

I went to your show in antwerp yesterday, amazing stuff.. we spent 30mins trying to figure out how you did the colored splatter on the BW photos.

The XA was designed to be the ultimate point-and-shot camera. It was designed by this engineer at Olympus (forget his name) who wanted to create a point-and-shot that would rival the most professional cameras at the time. It has a great lens, and it's compact and easy to carry. For some reason, people don't get as uncomfortable when you pullout a compact like an XA-2 and I seem to get more "natural" pictures with it.
The only drawback is its fixed focus ranges.
I have an XA-2, which is probably what you will find the most of on eBay, but have always wanted an XA-4, which has a wider angle lense and more focusing options.

Oh, one more thing, it is far superior to the LOMO LC-A in my opinion and for a fraction of the cost on eBay.

I use only the XA, not any later versions.

I got an XA after Ed showed me his. My XA leaks light. I used it to shoot a series of landscapes where once there was a skatepark at that location and now it's just a car park or whatever.

You can get new foam put on the inside of your light leaking XA, take it to a camera repair shop and I bet they can fix that light leak.
