Hey Ed,
Here is the previously mentioned question I sent to your TM email:

Hey Ed,
Here is a copy of an email I just sent off to Emerica. Any ideas or answers for me? The damn shoes seem incredibly fleshy to me. I dunno. A little help would be greatly appreciated.

Let me know.

To Whom it May Concern,
I wanted to double check a pair of Spring 2008 Leo's that I recently bought. After being incredibly impressed by the listings for vegan shoes you had on the Emerica site: http://emericaskate.com/shoes/spring-2008/leo/black-tan-red/
I purposely bought the Leo's due to the claim that the black/tan/red colorway was vegan. However, after receiving the shoes yesterday, I can't help but feel that they perhaps are not made of synthetic materials after all. The listing on the tag makes no mention of any sort of synthetics and the feel of the shoe is remarkably similar to suede and leather.

That being said, I cannot wear a pair of shoes that aren't vegan and wanted to check with you regarding the claim that they are synthetic. While I love supporting Emerica, shoes are expensive and I truly can't afford to spend them on pairs, or a company, that isn't supportive of vegan habits.

So please let me know. Again, you guys have always been supportive of vegan/veg lifestyles and have done tons to support Ed and the rest of your crew. I would hate to find out that these beauty shoes I bought were not able to be worn.
