Catalina with the Burnetts

Thrasher's own Mike Burnett and his lovely wife Katherine came with us for a day of adventure! We took a leisurely boat ride out to bird rock and ended up having a picnic on the boat where we watched 5 or 6 Bald Eagles hunting for fish. They were very efficient, just plucking fish from the surface every time they went out. We then took a stroll to the stables where we watches horses for a while. Checked the want ads, and cruised up and down Crescent ave... We were 4 of 3348 for the day.

I think anyone would wake up if their face was being cut,unless they're dead. How long is the ride to Catalina Island anyway?I looked on a map,and it looks far.
