I thought Christians were pro-life!

Image Description Here
But it seems by this scene in the Notre Dame cathedral that killin' babies is sweet.
90% of people who find out their child will be born with down syndrome will abort it. Is anyone saying that none of that 90% are Christian?

85% of statistics are made up. 65% of the population will tell you that. 72 % of the 65% of those people are Christians. That is a fact. Deal with it.

What was your favorite non-boring post I put up? I would like to know, so I can know what an exciting post would be.

I was sick today, and decided not to sit at a computer, until now.

Those are Catholic Christians...

and if you study theology you'll find out that the Catholic church is WAY more corrupt back then than today.

By the way, how ignorant is that fucking post? "I thought Christians were pro life?"

Love your boards but you're screwed up. I don't know where it all went wrong, but damn!

By the way, you're a fucking hypocrite yourself.

"I'm not anti-religion in anyway..."

Ed, sculptors that are in churches doesnt represent everyday life of christians. If you know nothing about history and the happenings in bible you should stay far away from Europes highly cultured places..

Americans are stupid.

Dear Swede,

The whole post was 'tongue in cheek'

Although, the sculptures are representing stories from the bible, which many Christians believe is the 100% literal truth.

Either way I was just joking around.

But you don't hear me calling all Swede's stupid over it.
Posted By: ed on May 21st, 2007 at 09:03AM PST
that could be representing a story or something that happened in the Bible. what is your problems with Christians? i guess it's okay to express yourself (what skateboarding is about) unless it goes against your opinion huh, ed? By the way, Christians do not all think the same. im sure there are some that do agree with abortion. Arent Josh Harmony and Austin Stephens Christian anyway?
Posted By: evan on May 21st, 2007 at 01:49PM PST
i didnt read the last comment. Yes, most Christians do believe what happened in the Bible is true but, just because it happened doesnt mean a Christian would agree with it and if you were joking around then you definitely cant tell.

Half-a-dolla,

Who said 'I'm not anti-religion?' in your quote? It certainly wasn't me. I think religion poisons almost every aspect of our lives, and mostly in a non-positive way. And again, it was supposed to be a funny comment about this sculpture which is very old, placed in a modern day setting (like a blog,) and commented on using a VERY current debate topic. So how is it 'ignorant?'

Evan,

You are correct in saying that there are many Christians who do not believe that let's say- stoning people to death for adultery is acceptable any more, like it was in the Bible. And I never said that anyone elses opinions don't matter. But this is my blog, and I am going to put my opinions down. You are free to post yours in the comments. It is totally fine to have a differing opinion from mine, Josh Harmony is a Christian, and I have great respect for his rights to believe what he wants, and he in turn respects mine. We even talk about religion sometimes, which I think is healthy. Your comment made me feel like some thought-nazi, when I have never said that only my opinion matters. What opinions other than mine am I supposed to put on my blog?

ha ur right

beats me...i think everyone should just have sex now! because if ed can't make a joke like "this one" without asstards getting all huffy...then what the fuck is the use of the blogs in the first place? i live in the deep southern bible belt, and i attend church and was not offended in the least! I thought that cultural city folk--like you guys--could share a non-p.c. laugh with ed for a change without burning him on a stake...you guys need sensitivity training in order to further persue your lives in a free-speeking world. cheer up! it was just a bad joke,----and if you knew eds sense of art--you would see how a late nite blog post could offend some people...but rest assure this...ed is not the anti-christ....I am.
