Epic photo-essay from Colette in Paris...

Among the super fancy items at the mega-IT-store Colette, it is hard to imagine so un-hip a charachter as me having a show here. Soak in the aura of shoes that cost more than most American families make in a month...

Deanna snapped this as I painted the show title onto the wall...

The finished product.

This is a shot from downstairs, and by the end of this day those mannequins will be dressed to the nine's in very nice clothing, but you can see the way the stuff is hung on the wall...

Hey Ed i had this really weird dream last night. I was at your house and somehow somebody had stolen you heart (not in the love sense but in the 'ripped-out-of-your-chest' sense) and i had to find it for you. My life then turned into a real-life point-and-click adventure game and there were all these 'toy machines'(the ones with the claws that pick up toys) and they were open at the front and I had to sift through them to find clues and stuff. Then I woke up and realised I was just me and had never met you which was super weird. Deanna was really nice in dream land too.

Nathan,

This is weird! I actually watched "Indidana Jones and the Temple of Doom" last night. And in that movie a dude gets his heart ripped out. Perhaps our brains had some epic connection last night. Deanna is always nice too. Some raw hippie shit going down man.

Sorry if that weirded you out. From what i see you photos in this show look pretty slick (as always). Good luck with the show.

I'm not weirded out by that. But I do wonder about the cosmic connection. Maybe you are my half brother I never met and didn't know existed?

"I'm not weirded out by that. But I do wonder about the cosmic connection. Maybe you are my half brother I never met and didn't know existed?"

Yeah I wonder about alot of things all the time. It would be cool if there were a way of figuring out strange and distant connections. This connection was a little farfetched though.

In the dream I had last night I was living in Turkey and my whole family and no-one else were living in this small town and there was a huge air-raid and my whole family were pretty much killed. I had a leg blown off, but for some reason i could still walk cos I had 4 legs to start with. And then these militants came around to kill us all. And there were also these reality-tv people with cameras who were walking around and showing the Turkish guys where I was and they shot me.

Now if you could find anything in that, then i will be most surprised. Thanks for taking the time to read all this stuff Ed. You're the best.

Nathan,

I did have an in depth conversation with somebody about Turkey on this trip, and saw a travel show about land-mine victims without legs, but that is as close as I come...

Ed,
Well it seems like i can relate this to when you learn a new word and its meaning that you seem to hear it everywhere afterwards, but the truth is that you really just ignored it each time you heard it previous because you didn't understand it.

I always have dreams in winter (I live in Australia) because its cold when im sleeping and I think it makes me restless and sleep lighter than usual. I'll stop harrassing you with my dreams now.
