In the depths of Canberra...
In the Australian Capital Territory, (like our Washington DC) they LET you skate all the spots. We were skating the equivalent of their Supreme Court building and cops just drove by looking at us. We took a boat out, and were able to drive right up the Prime Minister's house. We could have actually gotten off and walked on his property!!! That would be like just taking a stroll at the White House... Except of course you would be shot and in jail in less than 10 seconds in the USA...

All I can say is that it takes practice. Pretend you are nose-sliding the inside of the curb, or think about aiming your wheels to the top of the curb. Sometimes thinking about it differently will help.
I always think about getting right no top of it, that is what helps me.

Ok a kid was skating inside the White House with JFK inside. Turns out that kid was a suicide bomber. Kills the president and half the white house staff.

Skating inside the white house and getting past security with a bomb (WITH JFK inside!) like you suggest is much different than skating the steps out front of the supreme court.
I never said I hate America, I was simply marveling at the openness of Australians to let us skate their official buildings...
Unlike the USA, they have no reason to fear people wanting to kill their president, because he is not a doosh-bag like ours.
Just noting some differences.
