Sweet drawing. Hey Ed this is off topic, but since I know you have a history in making zines and books and what not, what is the best way to make a photocopied zine of photos? Cuase copy machines always fuck up any photo i try to copy , i think there's some special thing for it that supposed to be pressed or something, i don't know. But yeah , just wondering if you know.

If you are making zines by printing them out from a computer first, you can make the dot pattern bigger, and they will not tweak out as much.

If you are cutting and pasting your zine using real photos instead of scans, then the copy machine will make them look weird.

The punk way is to just do it fucked and that looks cool.

The nerd way is to make it on your computer, print it out, then take it to Kinko's and copy them

The best way, and most time consuming, it to get a sweet color printer, and print out every single page full color at your house.

I always do it the nerd way. I scan stuff and lay it out on the computer, then take it to Kinko's.

They turn out good, but you still lose some detail.

I really think that the whole reason to make a zine is to make it quickly and punk.

If you want to make it like a book, then save up and make a book. A zine is supposed to be quick.
