Barry and Clare at the Riverside Art Museum...

Barry was sighted out back near a church preaching sermons on UNREALITY. They had just finished hanging the show and were off to get ready for the opening.

Craig Stecyk was there in matching RVCA shirts. And Clare (AKA Peggy Honeywell) played a few songs.

Nolan from RVCA was there too.

A Visit to RVCA: Inside Look

Brendan and Wendy were busy putting the finishing touches on the ANP Quarterly magazine. Hiding their faces because of all the illegal graf they do. It reminded me about the last time I shot Brendan and Wendy together. I went in to go over the Jim Goldberg article I did. Lovely Skye was looking in to see what was up, Stew was handing me a box from Liz, who was busy sending other boxes to people while the young secretary was answering phone calls.
Even loyal pawn JGonzalez would have to comment on this, wouldn't he?

Tales of Normal Suburban Domesticated Life:

Had to babysit young Sophia, my niece this weekend. Took her to see Horton Hears a Who, which she hated. Try sitting through a movie with a bored 6 year old.

By the end of the night, I had re-thought the idea of ever having kids.

I tried to get her to watch the OG Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, but the commercial breaks, oh those damn breaks...

Heavy Flow Day

Been working very heavily on various projects: 1. A new ANP Quarterly is coming out soon and I did a big article/interview with photographer Jim Goldberg, which has taken some time to edit and arrange. 2. I have a show coming up this October in LA at the Roberts and Tilton Gallery, and have been working on paintings and printing photos for that. 3. Deformer is (cross my fingers) supposed to come out in September, which means I have to finalize it right now! and of course, 4. Toy Machine, continued brainwashing of the loyal Toy Machine pawns that inhabit the earth in wait of their overlords call to arms. PS: Supposed to be filming for the Emerica video too! Plus! I am married to the lovely Deanna who is always keeping me busy!

Before me bought a house, we lived near the HB park and would skate it every day. Still skate it a lot.

We only did a fully clothed polaroid session.

Polaroids are great for shooting dumb photos of yourself naked.
You can shoot them and keep them secret so nobody can see them.

Or just put them on public display at art shows or on the web!

That was a lot of hair, er, schlong to edit out. Luckily in '95 I was way skinnier.

Polaroids are great because you can manipulate them before they develop. Deanna hides under the covers.

This Polaroid was from Halloween 1984 or earlier... (From L to R my brother, mom, and me as a skeleton/devil) (these days I could have just zipped up my 'skeleton hoody' all the way.)

I got a new computer. With any luck (although there is no such thing as luck, regardless of how much I or anyone else uses it for lack of a better terminology for good fortune) or shall I say good fortune? (is there really any difference?) It will not explode on me like my last computer did over 10 times. (3 really bad) My last computer was so bad I feel like a a bunch of motorcycle driving miniature humans were inside fucking things up like in Tron.
