Our last night was in London and we ate at this place called
Eat and 2 Veg. They have a
website...

This was our food, not as fancy, see?

Just good ol' regular food.

Saw this
Archaeopteryx.

At the Victoria and Albert museum, and the Courtauld Gallery.

Cool stuff.

Deanna ate cute food. (tofu sushi)

This was a photo from Antwerp after I installed a small cluster in a collectors' house...
I'm on my way home.

This was one of the great old color photos of Paris we saw at the show yesterday in Paris. We were off to the Gare du Nord, to get our train under the channel to London. Saw this poster:
Barack Obama, so hot in Europe right now...

Fast forward to dinner time: Our window seat at Mildred's in central London...

We got this artichoke heart appetizer, because it sounded good. It was.

We always get the dumplings. We only take photos of fancy food really, most of our dinners are not this fancy...

Obligatory photo of yourself at Piccadilly Circus. Remember the one of Matt B here after our Europe tour last year? It was in this very spot, and that was the last time I was here.

It's freezing out, yet leggy girls still rock mini-skirts, and employ luggage handlers for their pink luggage.

Up the elevator back to our room to retire for the night.

Still in love after 20 years together.

Just playing around. I shot photos of Sarah from Colette today, she is very shy. Saw an exhibition curated by Martin Parr of color photos of Paris from the early 1900's. Pretty cool.

It was getting late and Deanna was near a fountain.

Our pal Stacy always takes photos of her food and now whenever I get interesting food, I take a photo for her. So I am not really obsessed with food like it may seem, but do have fun finding good vegan restaurants in Europe. This is what Deanna's food looked like. I don't even know how to describe it.

And mine was quite festive. Pasta and vegetables with cute sauces.

This was Aska's food. it wasn't vegan, but still looked wierd.

My desert came in separate containers and the waitress mixed it up like a performance in front of me.

Deanna's dessert was on
fire when it came. That log was an apple, and it was super good.

This was my lasagna from a Bio Bakery in Antwerp. It was GREAT.

Deanna had a
veggie-burger from the Bio Bakery, and she was very happy with it, especially the avocado on it.

Here is a shot of my part of the show...

And Deanna with her stuff...

And Mike with the
custom sewn zines that were made for the show. It was fun hanging out with Mike,
Aaron,
Aska, and the whole crew in Milan.

'The Sads' played the opening and were pretty good even with the echo...

We ended in perfect Italian style with a great dinner including very tasty and authentic 'risotto milanesi' and conversation. Here we toast to Italy adopting no smoking laws inside restaurants!

The next morning Deanna and I were off to Antwerp, Belgium to do some heavy meetings and visitations...

Photo Key: A day of flying, not exactly fun, but pretty fun, depending on how things go.
Thomas had fun with the toilets in Tokyo, but that is the opposite way from where I am
headed. Mangia Mangia!

Deanna and I are both in this exhibition at the
Marella Gallery in Italy. It's called
Something Old, Something New, something Borrowed, Something Blue. We have photographs in the show. It opens on the 21st if you are in Milan!

And for your entertainment today, a self-portrait with Appleyard and Rowley.

We had some people over for
Game-Night...

Apparently, while nobody was looking, Ptah slipped out to the garage to lay kitty cable. Well, sometimes a long hair gets tangled up in their poo, so when the poop squirts out some of the hair is stuck inside that puckered starfish, or
kitty bung-hole if you will. When the cat walks away and realizes a turd is attached to his butt and following him, he tears off, flinging it all over the place. So when Ptah came running in looking scared as hell, we knew something was up. Deanna picked him up and instantly got wet cat crap all over her arm. Bumming. She asked Melissa to get her some soap from the bathroom. So
Sweet Melissa went to get the soap and as she walked near the coffee table, her foot abnormally slipped out from under her, toppling her onto her side. It turns out she had stepped right on the moist turd waiting there like a land mine. (With her socks on which had a hole in them no less!)
Stacy just left her lying there, helpless. I was called down from upstairs to wash her heel and throw her socks away.

Deanna washed the doo-doo from Ptah's hindquarters, and from her arm, then
cleaned the floor. That dookie was pretty stinky, and the culprit,
Ptah, had no idea what was happening.

Too tuff to be tufted. Driving up = North and down = South, it's common knowledge because cars don't drive into space.

Tony T was tufted in Tampa

The Ybor Strip was going off in [2002?]

Austin was a young American, all night.

But he was younger.

First I voted, then we got to China Town in SF at about 11:00

Deanna drove. We had to go up to visit
Jim Goldberg's house, and scan things from his archive for
ANP Quarterly Magazine, which I work for. Kevin is at my house right now making me do my Toy Machine work.
