Hanging with, Jim Goldberg? I'm not worthy!

I went to Photo LA last weekend. It's a photography fair, filled with specialty photo bookstores, and photo galleries showing tons of prints. I went because Jim Goldberg, one of my all-time favorite photographers, was going to be speaking. He is part of Magnum Photo Agency, the gnarliest of the gnar. He also just won a grant from the Aftermath Project, which helps him continue his work on Migrants and Refugees around the world. I am very happy to know this great man.

The last day has passed for my show at the Tim Van Laere gallery.

And everything must come off the walls.
A small portion of it will be presented in the ARCO art fair in Madrid, Spain

Strangely enough, Madrid was also a name of a skateboard company when i was younger.

Emerica Team meeting / Go Kart Racing

The meetings are usually an hour of talking, then 5 hours of messing around and getting kicked out of the Go-Kart tracks. They made us wear these masks over our heads, so the other kids racing would'nt get our coodies. And vice-versa, we wouldn't get their herpes. --Heath looked pretty cool in his mask, and his cane, and Herman, coming from Hesperia, looked right at home in his.

Breakfast at Night?

Stacy cooked her famous Completely Vegan 'Egg McMuffins' using tofu as 'egg' and veggie sausage & ham, along with melted vegan cheese. We had that with some roasted rosemary potatoes, and toasted to the good times with Orange Juice.
We then looked at weird books from my collection and took group photos.
Then vegan chocolate chip cookies were made and topped with ice cream, chocolate sauce, and vegan whipped cream!
Then Christine, who is studying to become a doctor explained how she got to hold a piece of a man's colon that had just been cut out of a dude and was cancerous. She was real stoked to be fondling his colon.

We went on a sunny So-Cal winter day and had the best Tamale's. Even Kevin, The Filmer, was there. The food went into the bellies of Babes. We walked to the beach and got our feet in the icy cold water. We explored the coastal creatures, and their shells, wings and exoskeletons...
