"Hey Ed, Kevs, Here are a bunch of photos from my recent trip to Elche. Basically, we ate paella at Bob Almond´s house." (Bob Almond is
Roberto Aleman's "english" name.) (By the way Diego's "english" name is Doug Cherry.) (Is that Silas Baxter back there?)
"Roberto's dad makes the best
paella."
Habitat dudes Silas, Marius, Brennan and Dave Chami from TWS were in town for a couple of days. Silas mans the Bull-Barrow. Roberto is from a family of bull fighters, a tough lot no doubt.
Roberto, and Diego's wife Mabel.
A typical Spanish siesta.
One day we decided to check out the new Cartagena skatepark (70 miles from Elche), which looked really sick in photos – but in real life wasn´t that good.
Q: "Is Roberto giving you a hand-job?"
A: "No, Ed."
Looks fun to me...
What do you think The Butcher did here?
It's no HB park bar, but...
"After skating we felt like eating some chocalate milk and donuts."
Do not, repeat, DO NOT mess with Roberto Bummin'.
"Patxi, from dogway magazine, came and we skated with him a few days before I came back to Argentina. We skated this hubba the last day..."
"As you can see the run up was dogshit."
"Roberto shot a sequence of the bs 50-50 and we left."
I don't know why Diego included this photo and the close-up below...
But I'm putting it up. Maybe he got bit by a bug? Or hit his head?
